Distinctiveness in the Parliamentary Arena: Consequences for Democratic Legitimacy and Vote Choice
Abstract
This extended research proposal was presented at Politicologenetmaal Workshop 2021 - Volatility and Polarization in the Low Countries. The paper is divided into four parts. It proceeds as follows – 1) introduction; 2) justification of the research topic and the focus of it; 3) theory and findings from previous literature and key hypotheses; 4) questions of research design.
