Elina Zorina is a PhD candidate at Leiden University, the Netherlands. Her research focuses on impact of parliamentary parties’ distinctiveness on democratic legitimacy and vote choice. She analyzes consequences of government-opposition cooperation on the electorates in established parliamentary democracies—the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Denmark and Canada.
Elina holds a BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences with a major in International Relations, Political Science and Human Rights from St. Petersburg State University, and a two-year MA in Political Science from Central European University.
